Page Sand Devils (Page, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tuba City Warriors (Tuba City, AZ), 60-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Page upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Sand Devils travel to Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a 3A North bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 17-2. Monument Valley won 62-42 in their recent league bout against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ)

Next up, the Warriors play the Alchesay Falcons (Whiteriver, AZ) in a 3A North bout, on Saturday, January 21. Tuba City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 73-50 league loss to Chinle (Chinle, AZ).
