Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels (Tucson, AZ) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Lourdes Catholic Warriors (Nogales, AZ), 34-32 in a league contest.

The Sentinels (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ). The Lobos go into the 1A South contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Patagonia was nudged by Baboquivari (Sells, AZ), 47-16, in a league match.

The Warriors now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tombstone for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 21. Lourdes Catholic will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 42-22 non-league win over Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-16.
