Next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 3A Metro test, on Thursday, February 5. Bourgade Catholic will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 15-11 record after their 34-24 league loss to Payson (Payson, AZ).

The Sabercats (9-16) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Crusaders come into the 3A Metro test with a 4-18 record. In their last test, Northwest Christian was knocked off by Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 37-36, in a non-league test.
