In Thursday's league test, the Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ), by a tally of 8-1.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon test, on Monday, April 20. Coconino will attempt to advance on its 17-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 22-5 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ).

The Bears (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ). The Volunteers go into the 4A Grand Canyon test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Lee Williams was routed by Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ), 6-4, in a league test.
