In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Arizona College Prep Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Desert Mountain Wolves.

The Knights (13-16) will now prepare for their battle against Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Broncos come into the 4A - East Sky battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Poston Butte lost by American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wolves clash with the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A - Northeast Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Desert Mountain will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Firebirds come into the battle with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ).
