The Higley Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Casa Grande Cougars to 2 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams Field for a 5A - San Tan game on Tuesday, October 10. Higley will meet a Black Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 12-10.

The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Colts enter the 5A - San Tan game with a 15-11 record. In their last game, Casteel nipped Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league game.
