In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Higley Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Red Mountain Mountain Lions.

The Knights (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Skyline beat Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league game.

The Mountain Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Colts go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Casteel went down by O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league game.
