She served as a varsity captain for the Cibola Lady Raiders and propelled her squad to a 6A play-in appearance. Mariana will always be remembered for her selflessness and ability to adapt to whatever the team needs were from game to game. Mariana is one of the most competitive players and exhibits a relentless work ethic combined with a motor that never quits. Her impact on the Cibola Lady Raiders Basketball program will be felt for years to come."
