StrengthsThe Bobcats greatest strengths were their offense, speed, and ability to get on base. In 13 games, the team scored 113 runs, collected 81 hits, drove in 74 runs, and stole 159 bases while posting a .285 batting average and .512 on-base percentage. The lineup consistently pressured defenses, led by Aaron Arroyo (33 SB), Ethan Vega (29 SB), Brian Sanchez (18 SB), and Aldeir Molina (18 SB). Four players posted OBPs above .500, showing the teams ability to create scoring opportunities throughout the lineup. Defensively, the Bobcats posted a .934 fielding percentage and received strong contributions from experienced upperclassmen. The combination of offensive production, aggressive baserunning, and reliable defense helped the team finish 7-5 Third in Central League play and remain competitive throughout the season.
ReturningAaron Arroyo (Jr. SS/RHP/UTL) 3x First Team All-CIF Central League, 1x All-CIF Central League Pitcher of the Year, 1x First Team All-CIF City D3, Hit .583 with a .700 OBP, .889 SLG, 21 hits, 17 RBIs, 20 runs, 33 stolen bases, and 1 HR. On the mound, went 3-1 with 68 strikeouts in 38.1 innings in 2026.
Brian Sanchez (Jr. RHP/INF) 2x First Team All-CIF Central League. Hit .306 with 11 hits, 20 runs, 7 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases. Recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and struck out 27 batters in 18 innings pitched.
Ethan Vega (Jr., OF) All-CIF Central League Second Team. Scored 13 runs, stole 29 bases, drew 19 walks, and posted a .511 OBP.
Jason Castro (Fr. INF/OF) gained valuable varsity experience, appearing in 10 games while recording 4 hits, 2 RBIs, 5 runs scored, and 7 stolen bases.
Oralious Montalvo (So., INF/OF) showed promise with a .556 on-base percentage, 5 runs scored, and 6 stolen bases while providing versatility throughout the season.
NewcomersAndrew Luis (Jr., 2B) was one of the most productive hitters on the JV team, batting .500 with a .821 on-base percentage and 1.521 OPS. He scored 13 runs, collected 5 hits, drove in 10 runs, and stole 15 bases while striking out only once all season. His ability to consistently reach base and create offense makes him a player to watch.
Jonathan Saravia (Jr., INF/OF) was another key contributor, batting .231 while posting an impressive .615 on-base percentage and 1.230 OPS. He scored 13 runs, drove in 8 runs, stole 17 bases, and hit one home run. His combination of patience at the plate and speed on the bases helped fuel one of the leagues most productive offenses.
Joshua Rivera (So. INF/RHP) emerged as one of JVs most dynamic players. He batted .385 with a .652 on-base percentage, scored 14 runs, drove in 6 runs, and led the team with 24 stolen bases. His ability to impact the game both offensively and defensively gives him the potential to become a major contributors
Describe your Pitching StaffThe pitching staff was led by junior right-hander Aaron Arroyo, who served as the teams ace. He threw 38.1 innings, struck out 68 batters, posted a 3-1 record, and held opponents to a .257 batting average. Supporting him were junior right-hander Brian Sanchez and senior left-hander Aldeir Molina. Sanchez recorded 27 strikeouts in 18 innings, while Molina added 27 strikeouts in 16.2 innings. Together, the trio accounted for all 122 team strikeouts and nearly every meaningful inning pitched. The staffs ability to generate strikeouts and compete in key situations was a major factor in the Bobcats success throughout the 2025-26 season.
