In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host West Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Citrus Hill Hawks.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Menifee, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Heritage beat Perris (Perris, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 15. Citrus Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Dominguez (Compton, CA).
