In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Point Loma Pointers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the University City Centurions.

The Pointers (16-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (San Diego, CA). The Hornets come into the City - Eastern challenge with a 14-14 record. In their last test, Lincoln went down by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Centurions now sport a 17-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Jolla for a City - Eastern test on Thursday, October 23. University City will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 12-20.
