The Durango Demons were winner over the host Grand Junction Tigers football squad by a margin of 31-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Demons now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rampart for a 4A Soco 2 test on Thursday, October 2. Durango will meet a Rams squad coming off a 26-7 non-league win over Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Grand Junction falls to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gateway (Aurora, CO) to face the Olympians in a 4A I-25 challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Olympians enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Gateway won 21-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (Loveland, CO)
