The Palisade Bulldogs routed the visiting Durango Demons softball team by a final score of 9-2 in Saturday's league match.

The Bulldogs (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Montrose (Montrose, CO). The Red Hawks come into the 5A/4A Southwestern match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, Montrose nipped Basalt (Basalt, CO), 15-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Demons battle the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 27. Durango will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.
