In Friday's league contest, the host North Marion Colts basketball team scored a good 57-46 triumph over the Eastside Rams.

The Colts (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vanguard (Ocala, FL). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Vanguard notched a victory over Citrus (Inverness, FL), 66-30, in a non-league match.

The Rams now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rickards for a non-league match on Monday, December 29. Eastside will face a Raiders squad coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Crestview (Crestview, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
