The Lakeland Dreadnaughts defeated the visiting Kathleen Red Devils basketball team by a tally of 60-41 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Dreadnaughts now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte for a non-league bout on Friday, January 30. Lakeland will play a Fightin' Tarpons team coming off a 82-56 non-league win over Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL). The Fightin' Tarpons record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Kathleen falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Apopka (Apopka, FL) to play the Blue Darters in a non-league bout on Friday, January 30. The Blue Darters go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Apopka won 79-36 in their recent non-league test against Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL)
