Indian Rocks Christian earned a hard-fought 9–8 victory over St. Petersburg Catholic on February 12. IRCS balanced its attack with four players scoring, led by Jackson Tew (3G, 1A) and Leo Gonzalez (3G, 1A). Joseph Martinez-Valencia added two goals and Nate McCullar contributed a goal and an assist.

The Eagles controlled possession at the X, winning 15 of 21 faceoffs (71%), and battled for 53 ground balls to maintain offensive pressure.
