Lemon Bay Manta Rays (Englewood, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Southwest Florida Christian King's (Fort Myers, FL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Manta Rays (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Mooney was beaten by Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the King's face the Harvest Community Warriors (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 3. Southwest Florida Christian will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL).
