The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) and the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), observed Jeff Davis's basketball team overcome Berrien by a score of 55-41.

The Yellowjackets (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane come into the A D1 Region 1 challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Fitzgerald defeated Thomasville (Thomasville, GA), 62-59, in a league battle.

The Rebels now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a A D1 Region 1 battle on Friday, January 23.
