The Tift County Blue Devils basketball squad (Tifton, GA), was outscored 64-47 in Saturday's league battle with the host Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA)

The Wildcats (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings come into the AAAAAA Region 1 challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Lowndes defeated Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA), 54-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Camden County Wildcats (Kingsland, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 30. Tift County will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record.
