The East Coweta Indians got by the visiting Westlake Lions football team by a score of 28-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians face the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 2 test, on Friday, October 31. East Coweta will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 48-10 league loss to Douglas County (Douglasville, GA).

With the defeat, Westlake drops to 4-6 on the campaign.
