Washington High School Basketball - Cheney bested by Post Falls
January 4, 2025: Cheney, WA 99004 Post Falls Trojans (Post Falls, ID) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA), 57-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Post Falls advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID) to meet the Vikings in a 6A Southern Idaho match on Tuesday, January 7. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-4. Coeur d'Alene won 81-61 in their recent non-league match against Hermiston (Hermiston, WA)
The Blackhawks now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis & Clark for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Cheney will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 70-60 non-league loss to University (Spokane, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.
