Virginia High School Basketball - Herndon defeats Dominion
January 4, 2025: Sterling, VA 20164 The Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) basketball were winner over the host Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA), 58-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Yorktown for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Herndon will play a Patriots team coming off a 37-29 non-league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Dominion falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Woodgrove lost 59-46 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Leesburg, VA)
