January 7, 2023: Altavista, VA 24517 The Altavista Colonels topped the visiting Eastside Spartans basketball team by a final score of 49-36 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Colonels face the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Tuesday, January 10. Altavista will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 34-31 league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA).
