January 7, 2023: Morrison, IL 61270 The Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) basketball felled the host Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL), 72-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the Big Northern test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Oregon was beaten by Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL), 62-39, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Sherrard for a Three Rivers - West test on Monday, January 9. Morrison will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-44 non-league win over Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.
