North Carolina High School Basketball - South Granville overwhelmed by Cardinal Gibbons
January 7, 2023: Creedmoor, NC 27522 The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host South Granville Vikings to 49 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leesville Road for a contest on Tuesday, January 10. Cardinal Gibbons will battle a Pride team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Pride record now stands at 9-1.
The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Vance County was routed by Granville Central (Stem, NC), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
