In Tuesday's non-league test, the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) basketball squad got by the host Triway Titans (Wooster, OH), by a score of 59-54.

Next, the Smithies encounter the Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH) in a Wayne County test, on Friday, January 10. Smithville will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH).

The Titans (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Hiland nudged Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH), 70-38, in a league game.
