The Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Bronson Vikings (Bronson, MI), 60-45 in Thursday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Concord for a Big 8 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Springport will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 38-31 league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Bronson falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11.
