The Thornton Trojans basketball squad (Thornton, CO), was outscored 41-27 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Stargate School Eagles (Thornton, CO)

With the victory, Stargate School advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Liberty Common (Fort Collins, CO) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Liberty Common won 36-35 in their recent non-league battle against Loveland Classical (Loveland, CO)

The Trojans now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Morgan for a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. Thornton will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-32 non-league win over Frontier Academy (Greeley, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
