The Mavericks now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Madison will play a Hornets squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Aldine (Houston, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Smithson Valley moves to 2-3 on the year. The Rangers travel to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX) to play the Chargers in a 5A Region 4 District 26 bout on Friday, January 17. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
