California High School Basketball - Castro Valley tops Skyline
January 15, 2024: Oakland, CA 94619 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) and the host Skyline Titans (Oakland, CA), saw Castro Valley's basketball squad knock off Skyline by a count of 72-62.
With the victory, Castro Valley upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Berkeley lost 60-58 in their recent league challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)
Next up, the Titans play the Oakland Tech Bulldogs (Oakland, CA) in a Oakland challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Skyline will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 89-15 league win over Castlemont (Oakland, CA).
