January 15, 2025: Houghton Lake, MI 48629 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) and the visiting Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI), observed Houghton Lake's basketball team overcome Northern Michigan Christian by a margin of 62-53.
The Bobcats (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Aggies come into the Highland challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Beal City defeated Lake City (Lake City, MI), 50-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Friday, January 17. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 76-49 non-league win over Marion (Marion, MI).
