Illinois High School Basketball - Rock Falls nips Hinsdale South
January 16, 2023: Rock Falls, IL 61071 Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 91-88 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rock Falls upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Rockets travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to play the Vikings in a Big Northern bout on Friday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 12-10. North Boone won 42-38 in their recent non-league bout against Oregon (Oregon, IL)
Next up, the Hornets play the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Hinsdale South will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Golden Warriors go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 64-63 league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
