Michigan High School Basketball - Ida topped by Airport
January 16, 2024: Ida, MI 48140 The Airport Jets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Ida Bluestreaks to 42 in the Jets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Jets now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a Huron contest on Friday, January 19. Airport will battle a Bears team coming off a 72-63 non-league loss to Dundee (Dundee, MI). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
The Bluestreaks (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Redwolves come into the Lenawee County contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Clinton prevailed over Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI), 56-50, in a non-league contest.
