Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Springport Spartans (Springport, MI), 48-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Quincy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Orioles travel to Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 7-5.

The Spartans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reading for a Big 8 match on Friday, January 24. Springport will face a Rangers squad coming off a 64-18 league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI). The Rangers record now stands at 1-12.
