Iowa High School Basketball - Burlington nips Muscatine
January 17, 2023: Burlington, IA 52601 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA) and the visiting Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA), saw Burlington's basketball squad hold off Muscatine by a count of 65-61.
With the victory, Burlington upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Grayhounds travel to Davenport West (Davenport, IA) to play the Falcons in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Davenport West lost 69-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA)
Next up, the Muskies play the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Muscatine will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
