North Carolina High School Basketball - Victory Christian Center nips Queen's Grant

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Victory Christian Center Kings basketball team scored a close 50-43 win over the Queen's Grant Stallions.

The Kings (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee edged Carolina Day (Asheville, NC), 76-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Stallions play the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 18. Queen's Grant will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 69-58 non-league loss to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC).
