The Meyersdale Red Raiders basketball team (Meyersdale, PA), dropped 54-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA)

The Cougars now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacklick Valley for a Western Pennsylvania - Northern battle on Friday, January 20. North Star will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-37 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
