January 18, 2024: Gallup, NM 87301 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) and the host Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), saw Belen's basketball squad wallop Gallup by a count of 69-45.
With the victory, Belen upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Bengals play the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Gallup will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 69-35 non-league win over Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
