Illinois High School Basketball - Carlyle knocked off by Highland
January 19, 2023: Highland, IL 62249 The Highland Bulldogs basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Carlyle Indians to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okawville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Highland will battle a Rockets team coming off a 57-43 non-league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 3-14.
The Indians (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells enter the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Roxana was defeated by Okawville (Okawville, IL), 57-43, in a non-league contest.
