The Hot Springs Bison topped the visiting Douglas Patriots basketball team by a final score of 41-28 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bison face the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) in a A Region 8 game, on Saturday, January 21. Hot Springs will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Golddiggers enter the game with a 1-11 record after their 58-9 non-league loss to Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD).
