Alaska High School Basketball - Nenana can't hold off Craig
January 20, 2023: Craig, AK 99921 The Craig Panthers basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Nenana Lynx to 31 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petersburg for a 2A Southeast contest on Friday, January 27. Craig will battle a Vikings team coming off a 42-18 non-league loss to Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Vikings record now stands at 0-8.
The Lynx (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Unalaska (Unalaska, AK). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Unalaska was nudged by Craig (Craig, AK), 47-26, in a non-league contest.
