In Tuesday's league contest, the host Sonora Wildcats basketball squad scored a nice 67-50 victory over the Ripon Indians.

With the victory, Sonora advances its record to 9-11 on the year. The Wildcats host Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to face the Knights in a Trans Valley League match on Friday, January 23. The Knights enter the match with a record of 11-9. Ripon Christian won 81-39 in their recent league match against Orestimba (Newman, CA)

The Indians now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escalon for a Trans Valley League match on Thursday, January 22. Ripon will battle a Cougars team coming off a 70-51 league loss to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-9.
