Maine High School Basketball - Mountain Valley ripped by Lake Region
January 22, 2024: Naples, ME 04055 The Lake Region Lakers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons to 21 in the Lakers league triumph on Monday.
The Lakers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a B South contest on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Region will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 53-38 non-league loss to Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.
The Falcons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Hall-Dale triumphed over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME), 69-25, in a league contest.
