Texas High School Soccer - Barbers Hill knocks off East Chambers
January 23, 2024: Mt. Belvieu, TX 77580 Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 17 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Barbers Hill will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX).
The Buccaneers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a 4A Region 3 District 18 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. East Chambers will confront a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
