Florida High School Basketball - Lake Nona nips Lake Mary
January 25, 2023: Lake Mary, FL 32746 Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Mary Rams (Lake Mary, FL), 63-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Nona upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Lions host Lyman (Longwood, FL) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Lyman won 38-34 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL)
Next up, the Rams play the Seminole Seminoles (Sanford, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Lake Mary will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 78-49 non-league win over Freedom (Orlando, FL).
