January 25, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87507 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM) and the host Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM), saw Estancia's basketball squad wallop Tierra Encantada by a tally of 64-25.
With the victory, Estancia improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Santa Rosa won 75-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM)
Next up, the confront the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Tierra Encantada will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 67-41 league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM).
