The Nucla Mustangs routed the visiting Telluride Miners basketball team by a final score of 51-6 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the De Beque Dragons (De Beque, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 28. Nucla will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 7-5 record after their 44-42 league win over North Park (Walden, CO).
