In Friday's league match, the host South Tahoe Vikings basketball team scored a good 66-53 triumph over the North Valleys Panthers.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 28. South Tahoe will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Greenwave enter the match with a 15-6 record after their 55-46 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
