Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lower Moreland tops Cheltenham
January 27, 2023: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and the visiting Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), saw Lower Moreland's basketball squad knock off Cheltenham by a count of 59-44.
With the victory, Lower Moreland upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions host MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. MAST Community Charter won 63-50 in their recent non-league challenge against New Foundations (Philadelphia, PA)
Next up, the Panthers play the William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA) in a Suburban One - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Cheltenham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA).
