Arizona High School Basketball - Lincoln Prep crushes Cicero Prep Academy

Lincoln Prep Lightning (Chandler, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cicero Prep Academy Centurions (Scottsdale, AZ), 47-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln Prep upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Lightning travel to Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Flames in a 1A East bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Valley Lutheran won 43-31 in their recent non-league bout against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ)

Next up, the Centurions play the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ) in a 1A East bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cicero Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ).
